Martin & Audrey welcome you to their home in the peaceful, rural village of Bempton which is just 3 miles from Bridlington on the East Yorkshire Coast. Bempton Guest House is a member of the Bridlington Hotel & Guest House Association, an assurance of quality accommodation. We offer modern, comfortable non-smoking rooms with en-suite facilities, complimentary hostess tray, colour tv, hairdryer and clock radio. We serve a generous Yorkshire breakfast and also offer home-cooked Evening Meals and Snacks. We have a private rear car park and secure parking for motorbikes and bicycles.
Bempton is famous for its chalk cliffs and RSPB seabird sanctuary and is always a popular destination for birdwatchers and walkers but it also has much to offer any visitor. Whether you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing break or a base from which to explore this beautiful East Yorkshire Heritage Coast we are in the ideal location.
Bridlington is a traditional seaside resort and has 2 glorious beaches which have both been awarded with blue flags in 2007. There is an historic working harbour, promenades and the Old Town which has many art galleries and antique shops. From the harbour you can take a boat trip on the Yorkshire Belle around the headland and view the birds and cliffs from the sea.
Flamborough Head has two lighthouses and spectacular scenery. Also around the headland you will find North & South Landings, Danes Dyke and Thornwick Bay. Our neighbouring village of Buckton has an art gallery exhibiting the work of local artist Richard Burton. Sewerby Hall & Gardens are also well worth a visit with a childrens zoo and award-winning rose gardens.
